After purchasing a Metro Glide 300, I attempted to register it for warranty and found that the product was not recognised in the company’s own registration system, requiring me to select a different product instead. This made it impossible to confidently register the warranty for the item purchased.
The issue was compounded by packaging that advertised a free gift upon warranty registration and review. After encountering repeated system errors, I was logged out with no confirmation or follow-up, leaving no clarity as to whether the warranty or the advertised offer was valid.
Under Australian Consumer Law, warranties and representations must be clear and reliable. This experience showed inconsistencies, misleading promotional claims, and poor after-sales support, which significantly undermined confidence in the brand.
I will not be purchasing from MADD Gear again and recommend that other consumers proceed with caution.
